OCLC DISCONTINUES PRINTED VERSIONS OF TECHNICAL BULLETIN SERIES

To reduce printing and shipping costs, OCLC is discontinuing the
distribution of printed copies of Technical Bulletins, which
announce changes to the OCLC online system and services.
Technical Bulletins will continue to be available on the OCLC
Web site in PDF and HTML formats.

Every 15 seconds an OCLC member library adds a new record to
WorldCat, which contained 49,544,451 unique bibliographic
records, representing 881,001,291 holding locations, as of
April 5, 2003. Every 5 seconds an OCLC member library fills
an interlibrary loan request using WorldCat, which has supported
125,232,539 interlibrary loan requests as of April 5, 2003.
Every 2 seconds a library user searches WorldCat using the OCLC
FirstSearch service.
