CHECK OUT LATEST ENHANCEMENTS TO OCLC CONNEXION,
 FIRSTSEARCH SERVICES

New searching features, save file improvements, OCLC-MARC format
changes, and additional record export servers are among the
enhancements made to Connexion, the new face of OCLC cataloging.
For FirstSearch, changes include a WorldCat hot topic search,
new e-journal content and new labels for the user interface.

WorldCat, which contained 49,858,559 unique bibliographic
records, representing 886,145,282 holding locations, as of
May 17, 2003. Every 5 seconds an OCLC member library fills
an interlibrary loan request using WorldCat, which has supported
126,490,593 interlibrary loan requests as of May 17, 2003.
Every 2 seconds a library user searches WorldCat using the OCLC
FirstSearch service.
