The Universite of Montréal's ÉPC-Biologie Library recently announced its migration to QuestionPoint after a year-long trial using a commercial client support service. QuestionPoint, the collaborative virtual reference service developed by the Library of Congress and OCLC, combines a local reference solution with a global reference resource-sharing network to provide a cooperative, comprehensive and cost-effective service.

Every 12 seconds an OCLC member library adds a new record to WorldCat, which contains more than 52 million records representing 888,936,808 holding locations as of July 5, 2003. Every 4 seconds an OCLC member library fills an interlibrary loan request using WorldCat, which has supported 127,551,285 interlibrary loan requests as of July 5, 2003. A library user searches WorldCat using the OCLC FirstSearch service every second.
