Attention library science faculty: Apply for an OCLC/ALISE research grantThe OCLC/ALISE Library and Information Science Research Grant program awards up to $15,000 to foster quality research by faculty in schools of library and information science. Projects generally are completed within one year, and findings are published in the public domain. WorldCat updateEvery 12 seconds an OCLC member library adds a new record to WorldCat, which contains more than 52 million records representing 891,792,727 holding locations as of July 26, 2003. Every 4 seconds an OCLC member library fills an interlibrary loan request using WorldCat, which has supported 128,029,928 interlibrary loan requests as of July 26, 2003.
