netLibrary eBook collection tops 58,000 titles
With the addition of about 2,000 titles in last 30 days
from some of the world's leading publishers, including Elsevier, John
Wiley & Sons, Marcel Dekker Inc., World Scientific, Humana Press and
the Greenwood Publishing Group, the netLibrary eBook Collection surpasses
the 58,000-title milestone. To view the new titles or search the complete
collection, log in to TitleSelect. netLibrary is a division of OCLC.

OCLC changing documentation distribution policy
As part of a migration to e-documentation, OCLC will eliminate printed copies of all but three user guides for electronic delivery via the OCLC Web site. Printed copies of many user guides and booklets will continue to be available at no charge until the items are obsolete or until inventory is depleted. WorldCat update
Every 12 seconds an OCLC member library adds a new record to WorldCat, which contains more than 52 million records representing 894,407,497 holding locations as of August 23, 2003. Every 4 seconds an OCLC member library fills an interlibrary loan request using WorldCat, which has supported 128,594,707 interlibrary loan requests as of August 23, 2003. A library user searches WorldCat using the OCLC FirstSearch service every second.
