OCLC helps Cornell University publish Witchcraft Collection
High quality preservation microfilming by OCLC helped Cornell University
Library digitally publish a special Witchcraft Collection that contains
over 3,000 titles documenting the history of the Inquisition and the persecution
of witchcraft.
The OCLC Preservation Service Center in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, preserved
a collection of monographs printed from pre-1600 to 1850 in German, French,
English and other western European languages. About 30 percent of the
volumes were brittle, stained or damaged.
